Web downloads and profit: A proof
According to this MacWorld article, Disney managed to sell 24million TV shows via iTunes. Along with 24million shows, the company also said that it had managed to sell 2million movies to consumers via iTunes.

Fast-forwarding ads: DISABLED
Since there are tools that let you skip advertisements on various networks, advertisers are now getting frustrated because their message is not being conveyed to the “people.” However, according to this article, COX has signed a deal with ABC and ESPN which disables this feature for certain devices.
